This page explains how that AI works, where your data goes, what the AI can and cannot be trusted to do, and the choices you have. ## 1. How HIIE uses AI HIIE is an AI workflow operating system. A lead copilot named Camelia, working with specialist sub-agents, acts on your prompts to draft the things you ask for — product and business documents, CAD models, images, and multi-step automations (flows). You describe what you want; the agents plan the work, call tools, and produce real outputs you can review and edit. - **Camelia (lead copilot).** Interprets your request, decides which tools and sub-agents to use, and coordinates the work end to end. - **Specialist sub-agents.** Focused agents handle specific jobs — for example generating CAD, drafting documents, producing images, or wiring up automations — under Camelia's direction. ## 2. Which models run, and Bring Your Own Key By default, HIIE routes your prompts to large language models through OpenRouter (openrouter.ai), which selects and forwards requests to the appropriate model provider. Managed inference this way is metered with service credits. You may also **Bring Your Own Key (BYO)**. When you supply your own provider key, that model runs on your own account, unmetered by us. BYO keys are encrypted at rest and are never returned to the browser. ## 3. Limitations — outputs can be wrong AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or unsuitable for your specific purpose, even when it looks confident and well-formed. Treat everything HIIE generates as a draft to be reviewed, not a finished, verified result. - **Human review required.** You are responsible for checking and validating anything you rely on — documents, designs, CAD, images, and automations alike. - **Never for safety-critical use without a licensed PE.** Do not use HIIE output for manufacturing, structural, electrical, medical, or other safety-critical decisions without independent review and sign-off by a licensed Professional Engineer or other qualified expert. HIIE does not provide PE-stamped or certified work. ## 4. Human-in-the-loop You stay in control. The AI proposes and drafts; you approve the actions that matter. HIIE is designed so that you review and decide before relying on an output — the system assists your judgment, it does not replace it. ## 5. Where your data flows To do its work, HIIE sends the relevant parts of your prompts and project data to a small set of providers: - **OpenRouter.** Prompts for managed inference are transmitted to OpenRouter, which routes them to model providers and returns the response. (BYO requests go to your chosen provider on your own account.) - **Meshy and our build123d CAD service.** 3D generation requests — your text prompts for premium text-to-3D and your concept images for image-to-3D — are sent to Meshy (api.meshy.ai), which generates the textured mesh and returns the model files. Parametric CAD requests go to our self-hosted build123d CAD service on Railway, which generates the geometry and returns the model files. Your per-user project data is encrypted at rest with server-only keys that are never sent to the browser. (a Wyoming C-Corp, headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska) is committed to protecting the security, confidentiality, and integrity of the data you entrust to HIIE. This policy describes the measures we use to safeguard your data and how we respond if a security incident occurs. ## 2. Security measures - **Encryption in transit.** All traffic between your browser and HIIE is encrypted using TLS (HTTPS). - **Encryption at rest.** Per-user data is encrypted at rest with AES-GCM. Encryption keys are server-only and are never sent to the browser. - **Per-user data isolation.** Each user's data lives in its own encrypted scope, so cross-tenant access is cryptographically impossible — one account cannot read another's data even in the event of a query bug. - **No card storage.** We never store payment card numbers. All payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe (PCI-DSS Level 1). - **BYO keys.** Provider keys you bring yourself are encrypted at rest and are never returned to the browser. We do not sell your data or train third-party models on it. - **Infrastructure.** HIIE runs on Cloudflare (encrypted D1 per-user storage and hosting) and a self-hosted CAD service on Railway, with access to production systems restricted to authorized personnel. - **Dependency monitoring.** We monitor application errors and our dependencies via Sentry and keep packages updated to reduce exposure to known vulnerabilities. ## 3. Incident response If we confirm a security incident involving unauthorized access to, disclosure of, or loss of personal data, Arthur Labs will: - **Investigate promptly.** Begin investigating without undue delay after we become aware, to determine the scope, cause, and impact. - **Contain the breach.** Take immediate steps to contain and mitigate the incident, including revoking compromised credentials, isolating affected systems, and patching the underlying vulnerability. - **Assess the impact.** Determine which data was affected, how many people are impacted, and the likely risk to them. ## 4. Breach notification **Supervisory authorities (GDPR Article 33).** Where a breach is likely to result in a risk to the rights and freedoms of EU/EEA/UK individuals, we will notify the relevant supervisory authority without undue delay and, where feasible, within 72 hours of becoming aware of it. **Affected individuals (GDPR Article 34).** Where a breach is likely to result in a high risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify you directly without undue delay — via email and/or a prominent notice in the product. That notice will describe the nature of the breach, the categories and approximate number of records affected, the likely consequences, the steps we have taken, and how to reach us for more information. **US state laws.** We will also comply with breach notification requirements under applicable US state laws, including California (Cal. Civ. Code 1798.82), Wyoming (Wyo. Stat. 40-12-502), Nebraska (Neb. Rev. Stat. 87-803), and any other state where affected individuals reside. ## 5. Responsible disclosure If you discover a security vulnerability in HIIE, we ask that you report it responsibly to security@arthurlabs.net with enough detail for us to reproduce it. Stored encrypted and scoped to your account. - **Usage & billing** — credit ledger, plan, and transactions (via Stripe). - **Technical** — logs and error/diagnostic data (via Sentry) to keep the service reliable. ## How we use it To provide and operate the service, generate the output you request, meter usage, process payments, prevent abuse, and improve reliability. We do not sell your personal data. ## How your data is protected Project data is stored encrypted and is cryptographically scoped per account — one user's data cannot be accessed by another. Secrets and BYO provider keys are encrypted at rest, used only server-side per request, and never returned to the browser. ## Third-party processors To deliver features we share the minimum necessary with: **Clerk** (authentication), **Stripe** (payments), **OpenRouter** (AI model routing), **Meshy** (3D model generation — your 3D prompts and concept images, via api.meshy.ai), **Composio** (the app integrations you connect), **Sentry** (error monitoring), and our cloud/database providers. Each processes data under its own terms. When you connect an integration, you authorize data exchange with that app. ## Cookies We use a small number of cookies: **essential** cookies for sign-in/session (Clerk) and basic preferences (e.g. sidebar state). These are required for the app to function. We record your cookie choice. We don't use advertising cookies. ## Retention & deletion We keep your data while your account is active.
