Reading your balance, ledger, and usage history
HIIE gives you two complementary views of where your credits and activity go: a balance & history panel and an account-wide usage summary. Both live in your Account hub.
Balance & history
The balance view shows your managed-inference balance in both credits and USD, your programmatic API monthly budget versus its cap, and your CAD generations used and limit for the month. Below that is a recent ledger of transactions — grants, top-ups, and metered runs. If you have an active own key, this view instead shows "Bringing your own key (unmetered)," because your runs aren't drawing from a managed balance.
Account-wide usage
The usage view sums activity across all your projects: number of projects, agent calls, CAD jobs, flow runs, and your remaining capacity percentage. It also breaks down calls and actual inference cost per AI model, so you can see which models you lean on. Unlimited accounts simply show "Unlimited."
Reading the ledger
- Credit grants appear when a plan renews or you buy a top-up.
- Metered runs deduct credits at actual cost (1 credit = $0.01 of real value).
- BYO runs post as $0 / free rows — they don't reduce your balance.
Where to find it
Both panels are part of the unified Account page, which collapses into Account, Usage, Settings, and Developer sections. The Usage section is where you'll find the activity summary and balance history together.
