More Reliable Design Flows

Flows Start Every Time

Running a design flow now starts reliably. Previously a flow could fail to begin and leave you watching a connection retry — that's resolved, so when you start a run it connects and streams its progress right away.

More Accurate Engineering Analysis

When your design includes thermal work — heat dissipation, material limits, enclosure cooling — the engineering agents now read those figures correctly. Before, a heat-related measurement could be misread as the device's power draw, which made the agents appear to disagree with each other and slowed a run down with unnecessary back-and-forth. Runs for small, low-power devices in particular now reach a clean, consistent result faster.

3D Model Generation Restored

Generating a 3D model on the Design page works reliably again. If you ran into a "Generation Failed" message recently, that's resolved — start a design and it will build and render the model as expected. Note that a fresh model can take several minutes to generate; a few minutes of "generating" is normal, not a failure.

Clearer Guidance on Design Prompts

The Design page turns your description into a real, manufacturable 3D object, so it needs a physical thing to model — a part, enclosure, bracket, or mechanism — rather than a scene or picture. If a prompt can't be turned into a model, you'll now see a clear explanation and an example of a good prompt, instead of a generic error.

3D Design Generation, Now in the Cloud

Reliable 3D Model Generation

Generating a 3D model — both from the Design workspace and as part of a full design run — now works directly in the cloud with no local setup. Previously, 3D generation could fail to start; now you can describe an enclosure and get a real, downloadable 3D model (and an editable design you can refine with follow-up requests) every time.

Refine Your Design Conversationally

After generating a model you can keep iterating on it — ask for changes in plain language and the design updates in place, carrying your previous work forward, with the updated 3D model and STEP file ready to download.

Your Design Package, Done Right

One-Click Design Package Download

Finishing a design now reliably hands you the complete project bundle — blueprints, CAD files (STEP/GLB/STL), the engineering report, build guide, firmware, and bill of materials — in a single download. The download button works from every panel, and your package stays available when you come back to a finished project later, not just in the moment it completes.

Shop Your Bill of Materials Directly

The bill of materials now tells you exactly where to buy every part. Each line includes a direct purchase link, the supplier part code, the manufacturer part number, and a datasheet link — in both the on-screen list and the downloadable spreadsheet. No more hunting down components by hand: open the BOM, click through, and order.

Cleaner, Readable Engineering Results

Agent results now render with proper formatting — headings, lists, bold text, code, and tables all display the way they were written instead of showing raw symbols. Reading a specialist's output is far easier to scan.

Tap a Flagged Connection to See Why

When two steps in your design conflict, or a step raises a safety or feasibility concern, the connection between nodes lights up red or yellow. Clicking it now opens a clear breakdown of exactly what the issue is — the conflicting values, the feasibility scores, any warnings, and suggested fixes — so you know what to address.

Refine Your Idea Before You Build

The workspace start screen now has a quick link to the Idea Lab — "Want to improve your idea first?" — so you can sharpen your concept before kicking off a full design run.

A Clearer Path to Upgrade

Free accounts now have a one-tap "Upgrade now" button pinned to the top-right corner, so unlocking more — including 3D renderings of your designs — is always within reach. We also tidied the top navigation: it now shows "Dashboard" directly instead of your wallet address.

Next-Generation 3D Design Engine

Production-Quality 3D Enclosures

The 3D viewer now generates manufacturing-ready enclosure designs instead of basic box geometry. When you submit a hardware design prompt, the system produces a detailed enclosure with proper rounded edges, ventilation, port cutouts, and mounting features — ready for injection molding or 3D printing.

Progressive Design Refinement

Your 3D model now improves automatically as your design progresses through three stages:

  • Stage 1 — A recognizable product shape appears within the first minute based on your description
  • Stage 2 — After specialist engineers analyze your components, the enclosure updates with precise cutouts for connectors, sensor openings, display windows, and ventilation slots
  • Stage 3 — After manufacturing review, the final design includes draft angles, sealing features, and material-specific optimizations

Each stage replaces the previous model in the viewer — no page refresh needed.

STEP File Downloads

Every design now includes a downloadable STEP file compatible with professional CAD software (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, FreeCAD). Import your HIIE-generated enclosure directly into your existing design workflow.

Smarter Budget Management

A new budget system tracks design generation usage across your account. The system automatically adjusts refinement depth based on remaining budget, ensuring you always get at least a Stage 1 design for every project.

Arthur Labs Verify — Custom CAPTCHA System

HIIE now includes its own CAPTCHA system, Arthur Labs Verify. Instead of generic text puzzles, challenges are built from real CAD models — you might identify 3D objects, pick which way is up, count assembly parts, or drag a lid onto a box.

Six challenge types available:

  • Object ID — Select all images showing a specific type of object from a 3x3 grid
  • Camera Fit — Rotate and zoom a 3D model until it fills the frame
  • Orientation — Identify which direction is "up" for a rotated object
  • Real vs Generated — Pick which of two renders looks more realistic
  • Part Count — Count how many separate parts an assembly has
  • Drag to Assemble — Drag a part to its correct position on the base

Embeddable on any website: Arthur Labs Verify works as a drop-in widget, similar to reCAPTCHA. Add a single script tag and a container div to any site to get bot protection powered by CAD intelligence.

Every human interaction helps improve our models — responses are anonymized and used to train better 3D generation over time.

Improved Security

  • Authentication is now enforced in all non-local environments
  • Cross-origin request handling has been tightened to only allow known domains
  • Database access controls have been strengthened across all tables

  • Workspace 401 Errors — The workspace page now validates your session token on load instead of only checking for a wallet address
  • Automatic Token Refresh — If your session expires while using the workspace, HIIE now silently refreshes it in the background instead of blocking you with an error
  • Silent Re-Login After Logout — Fixed a race condition where the dashboard could accidentally log you back in immediately after you logged out
  • Wallet Disconnect on Mobile — Logout now retries the wallet disconnect if the first attempt fails (common when the wallet app is in the background on mobile)
  • Chat History Not Loading — Fixed workspace message history never loading from the database due to reading from the wrong browser storage

Improvements

  • Mobile UX Overhaul — Redesigned the Token Rewards page for mobile. The wallet connect flow now uses a smooth bottom sheet instead of a full-screen popup that blocked the view
  • Auto-Connect in Wallet Browsers — Opening HIIE inside Phantom or Solflare's built-in browser now automatically connects your wallet — no extra taps needed
  • Mobile-Responsive Across All Pages — Improved touch targets, text sizing, and spacing on the landing page, pricing, help, status, and token rewards pages for phones and tablets

Bug Fixes

  • Login/Logout Flow — Fixed redirect loop that trapped TWA (Trusted Web Activity) users on /connect after logout. Solana dApp Store flagged this as "Login / Logout Flow Failure"
  • Session Validation — Workspace now validates the JWT session token on mount instead of only checking for a wallet address. Users with expired tokens are redirected to login instead of seeing "Authentication required" errors
  • Token Auto-Refresh — Workspace and flow prompt overlay now attempt to refresh an expired JWT before failing. If the token can be renewed, the user stays logged in seamlessly
  • Silent Re-Auth Race — Fixed a race condition where the dashboard could silently re-authenticate a user immediately after they logged out by refreshing the JWT with a stale wallet address
  • Wallet Disconnect — Logout now retries the wallet adapter disconnect on failure (common on mobile when the wallet app is unresponsive) before clearing auth state
  • Message History — Fixed workspace message loading reading from sessionStorage instead of localStorage, which meant chat history was never restored from the database

Improvements

  • Updated landing page navigation with Docs, Help, and Roadmap links
  • Added footer with organized link columns (Product, Resources, Company)
  • Middleware updated with proper public/auth route gating for new endpoints
  • Auth checks across all pages (landing, connect, workspace, dashboard) now require wallet + provider + session token — preventing stale-session redirects to protected pages
