Using 'Organize' to dedupe, flag conflicts, and move misfiled files
"Organize" is a one-click action in the Documents browser that hands your whole project to Camelia for a cleanup pass. It streams a live run and refreshes the file list when it finishes.
What Organize does
Camelia reviews every backbone folder and performs four jobs:
- Dedupe — finds files with the same or heavily overlapping content, flags them, and recommends which to keep.
- Flag conflicts — points out contradictory or misleading information between documents.
- Label — sets a consistent smart label (Research, Spec, Design, Legal, Finance, Manufacturing, Marketing, or Misc) on every file.
- File — reads enough of each document to judge where it belongs and moves misfiled documents into the correct backbone folder.
She applies labels and moves directly, then ends with a short summary of what she moved, what she labelled, the duplicates and conflicts she found, and any clarifications she needs from you.
Deletions are gated
Organize never deletes a file on its own. When deleting a duplicate would help, Camelia raises a Human Input Popup approval gate — a hard, blocking confirmation — and the file is removed only if you approve. Labels and moves, which act on your own data, apply without a prompt.
Watching it run
The action runs through the same Camelia agent the chat uses and streams its progress into a live log so you can see what's happening. When the run completes, the Documents view re-pulls so your reorganized files appear immediately.
If you only want tagging — no moves or deletions — use the lighter "Smart Label" action instead.
