What Spec Sheets shows (and why 'Generate latest' is disabled)
Design → Spec Sheets collects spec documentation and deliverable downloads for a project. It surfaces existing content rather than generating new spec sheets on demand.
What Spec Sheets shows
The Spec Sheets view does two things:
- When a spec-sheet markdown document exists in your project, it displays that document and makes it downloadable.
- It lists your completed CAD deliverables, each with a STEP download.
So if a spec sheet has already been written into your documents, this is where you'll find and download it, alongside the manufacturing-ready STEP files for your finished parts.
Why 'Generate latest' is disabled
The "Generate latest" button on this page is a disabled placeholder. It does not currently trigger on-demand spec-sheet generation — so don't expect clicking it to produce a new spec sheet from your latest design.
How to get a spec sheet instead
Since that button is inactive, the practical path is to have a spec-sheet document created through Camelia's normal document workflow — for example by asking her to produce one — which lands in your project's documents. Once such a document exists, Spec Sheets will display and offer it for download. In the meantime, use Schematics and Spec Sheets together to grab the STEP files for your completed CAD deliverables.
