What information support can see when you're signed in
When you contact support through the /help form, what the team can see about you depends on whether you are signed in. Understanding this helps set expectations for follow-up.
Signed-in submissions
If you submit the contact form while signed in, your account email is attached to the resulting ticket automatically. This happens on the server using your Clerk identity — you do not type your email into the form. The benefit is direct: support has a verified address to reply to without any extra steps from you.
Signed-out submissions
The form also works on the public site when you are signed out. In that case no account email is attached, so include a way to reach you within the message itself. Otherwise support may have no reliable way to respond.
What is attached, and what isn't
What reaches the ticket is the subject and message you wrote, plus your email when signed in. Your project data stays encrypted and scoped to your account; submitting a support ticket does not bundle your files or secrets into it. If a problem involves a specific project or action, describe it in your message so support has the context they need.
A note on privacy
BYO keys and secrets are encrypted at rest and never returned to the browser. A support request does not change that — only the details you choose to write in the form are shared.
